A Corner for the Work of Her Hands

Fatima Al Azmi

Some dreams do not ask for applause. They ask for a place — quiet, visible, and fully earned.

Fatima Al Azmi is thirteen years old and lives with Waardenburg syndrome. She loves handcrafts, especially crochet, and approaches her work with the care of someone who already knows what beauty can do in small details.

Her dream was not only to keep making things. It was to have a place where others could see them — a space where her work could be displayed with the attention it deserves.

Omnia partnered with House of Fashion to make that happen. The store dedicated a special corner for Fatima’s crochet pieces, allowing her creations to be showcased in a real retail setting.

For Fatima, this transformed a private passion into a public moment of pride. Her work was no longer tucked away in the background. It had a place, a frame, and an audience.

And perhaps that is what so many dreams are asking for in the end: not permission, but room.
