Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in the MENA and the UK, expanded the reach of its Braille feature to include all its operations in KSA to provide it to all segments of society and to improve communications between people.
Floward’s customers in KSA will be able to easily gift their visually impaired loved ones flowers and gifts while telling them exactly how they feel by adding messages printed in Braille starting from Monday, January 2, 2023. Braille is a system of raised dots that can be read by feeling the paper by hand. In an effort to make its platform more inclusive and easier to use, Floward also makes sure to add detailed descriptions to its products to make them accessible to visually impaired people by using the accessibility features provided on their smartphones.
It should be noted that Floward was the first company in the region and its field to launch such a feature in 2022 on World Braille Day in its operations in Riyadh, Medina, and Jeddah.
Floward Chief Growth Officer Mr. Mohammed Al Arifi said: “We are happy to announce that the Braille feature is now available across the Kingdom. At Floward, we believe that nothing should stand in the way of expressing love, which is why we started offering this feature. We hope to further expand this and provide it across all our operation points in the future.”
