Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in MENA and UK, collaborated with Mudhawi’s List to launch a special campaign dedicated towards Kuwaiti Women’s Day on May 16.
Kuwaiti Women’s Day is celebrated on the 16th of May every year. This year also marks the 18th year anniversary of when Kuwaiti women were granted their rights to vote and to run for office. To celebrate Kuwaiti women, Floward released a video featuring notable female figures in various professions including politics, entrepreneurship, sports, science, arts, and others. The goal behind this initiative is to showcase that women are more than capable of working in any field and excelling in it, as well as empowering the new generation to follow their dreams.
As a gesture of kindness, Floward congratulated more than 40 Kuwaiti women by presenting them with flowers and gifts to thank them for their invaluable contributions to Kuwait and to society.
Floward Chairman and CEO Mr. Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani said: “We would like to congratulate all Kuwaiti women on this day. We at Floward, believe that women have always played a significant role in the advancement and development of society, and we are always committed to supporting women in all fields and are immensely proud of all their accomplishments.”
Mudhawi’s List supports women running for office by linking them with volunteers and in-kind donation providers in order to assist them with essential campaign services. Their mission is to tackle the universal challenge of achieving gender equality and empower all women and girls on a local and regional level.
