Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in MENA and UK, has announced its participation in the opening ceremony of King Saud University’s (KSU) new College of Arts building, held on campus on February 11.
In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, King Saud University has launched the College of Arts’ new building to encourage more students to enrol in art school and create more jobs in the field in the Kingdom by providing them with an environment that nurtures their talents and allows them to unleash their creativity.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries including His Excellency President of King Saud University, Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, Vice Minister of Culture, Mr. Hamed M. Fayez, Theatre and Performing Arts Commission CEO, Mr. Sultan Al-Bazie, The CEO of Saudi Music Commission, Mr. Paul Pacifico, Deputy Minister for National Partnerships & Development, Ms. Noha Kattan, and Floward People & Culture Sr. Director in KSA, Mr. AbdulKarim Alshammari.
Stemming out of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting educational institutions to nurture young talents, Floward participated by hosting a booth at the ceremony aimed at stimulating the imagination and artistic sense of KSU’s art students by inviting them to paint on Floward vases which were showcased to the visitors.
